Texas' SB8 is the strictest abortion ban in the nation, banning abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected. This can be as early as 6 weeks, before most women even know they are pregnant. This bill disproportionately impacts people of color and those in poverty. TVAC has been impassioned to support causes that directly help women seeking an abortion. By having the strictest abortion ban be in our own backyard this year's benefit show will be directly supporting Jane's Due Process

 Jane’s Due Process' mission is to help young people across Texas navigate parental consent laws and confidentially access abortion and birth control. They provide free legal support, 1-on-1 case management, and stigma-free information on sexual and reproductive health. 

Their goal is to work towards a future where young people in Texas have full reproductive freedom and autonomy over their healthcare decisions.
